i really like physical media. i feel like it's more personal, cool, and just like better. i believe that i feel that way partially because of how much my life is tied to screens, and fleeting, insignificant apps. having a vinyl or dvd rather than spotify or netflix just seems so much more fun to me! plus, you can customize your stuff easier! putting stickers or beads or drawings makes things cuter. i really need a dvd writer and a CD walkman - like, urgently. and i have a record player, but it's in my family's living room... making it in a space that i don't normally venture to. i'm so excited to have my own space so that i can get all the physical media a girl could ever dream of! also ZINES. if you don't know what a zine is, i feel bad for you; and out of my pity, i will explain. a zine is basically a tiny, handmade magazine - hence where the name zine comes from. they're from the same period of time that the riot grrrl movement was raging (i loveeeee the riot grrrl movement!) and originate from that punk subculture. i need zines so bad. i'm just obsessed with little trinkets and collectables! and, of course, i am obsessed with physical media!

"not to be a hater, but...." is a phrase i dislike strongly. you're already being a hater; saying that doesn't cushion the blow! it's the same thing with the phrase, "no offense, but..." that addition of the "but" is the thing that makes it extremely contradictory, i fear. so just a PSA to NOT use those. i mean if you do, i don't care, you do you, but just realize that you are being a hater, and you can cause offense. :) .

i LOVEEEE cameras! let me give you a (written) tour of my cameras! so the first one i ever got was the fujifilm instax mini camera. it's like a polaroid camera, but chunkier and more kid-friendly. i think that it was a great first camera for me - especially since i got it when i was like, 9 years old! the next camera technically isn't one camera, but i have been using the fujifilm disposable cameras since i was around 11 or 12 years old. they're super convenient, and also very beginner friendly. i love using the flash on it, and i've taken one or two of them on every single school campout i've been on! very very easy film cameras, relatively cheap (unless you get a bunch of them), and they are treasured keepsakes from trips or periods in your life. when i was 13, i took a really small camera with me on a mexico exchange trip that i did - and it was my first real introduction to digital cameras. this camera was the nikon coolpix, and it's barely even the size of my pointer finger! it takes surprisingly high-quality images with a lens literally smaller then my fingernail! the videos are such good resolution and the audio isn't even bad. i cannot physically talk about good cameras without bringing up my coolpix - i'm actually obsessedddd. next up on the camera roster is my polaroid iso48 waterproof digicam. it is scrumptioussss! unfortunately, i can't rate it as highly as my coolpix, simply because there's no speaker, so videos are all silent... i guess that adds kinda a cool nostalgic like "you'd have to have been there to know what we said" aura, but it makes me feel a little like i'm missing out. but, it is waterproof, so i give it extra points for that! i've been able to shoot in the rain, underwater, in super harsh snow, and the camera has come out unscathed. overall, i would say if you don't care about super high rez photos, and you want a nostalgic, classic digicam feel to your photos, and you need a resillient cam - the polaroid iso48 is the perfect cam for you! next up is my ricoh myport 330 super. it's a classic film camera that takes 35mm film, with such a nice build! oh how i love my ricoh, it's such a nice cam! the zoom-in is extremelyyy fun to use, and the flash is great. it has many a setting that i enjoy, and it's honestly one of my favorite cameras that i own! now, since it is a film camera, you have to purchase film to use it - that's the only downside for me, since film can be expensive. overall, i would really reccomend the ricoh myport 330 super if you want a cheap, sturdy, and vintage-feeling film cam; i got mine at my local vintage camera store for $45, and they can go for even less online! the last camera i have is my canon. tbh i'm not completely sure which model of canon i have, since it was a surprise gift for my bday (i am so grateful i promise!) but i LOVE it. it's obviously not going to give a vintage feel to photos, but it gives a gorgeous super high-rez photo no matter the setting, lighting, or thing you're photographing. i mean, duh, canons are known for being super high quality - i just cannot stress enough how professional my photos look when i use my canon! i think i may have a canon eos r100??? i will have to check at a later date to ensure i am telling the truth. but yeah, i cannot rate the canon highly enough! anyways, those are all my cameras, and that ceases my camera rant! in the end, if i had to rate my cameras, this is how it would go:

keep in mind that i love all my cameras and i reccomend all of them, just some for different situations!
